Meet Shannon Seaver & Jena Zangs
Shannon and Jena came from different worlds in education... Shannon from K-12 in Edina Public Schools and Jena as a data analyst at the University of St Thomas but they shared one thing in common: a passion for improving outcomes in education with tech.
Shortly after becoming members (& board leaders) at MN Women in AI they joined forces to build "REAL - Authentic Learning Studio" during Lovable's SheBuilds Hackathon and beat out 215 global teams to win the competition.
Did we mention that they live streamed the entire event to help encourage women and girls to learn to vibe code AND landed on Kare 11 local news?
Today, they're continuing to build their startup while also working their other jobs: Jena as the Chief AI Data Officer at The University of St Thomas and Shannon as the founder of Tailoredu and RealPath.
Meet Kat Hill Contag
Kat Hill Contag moved to Minneapolis after the pandemic working on marketing and growth projects for teams on the coasts but she hadn't found many Minnesotans she could call her colleagues.
In July of 2025, she joined MN Women in AI. She had used a lot of AI marketing tools, but hadn't found many environments to challenge herself.
After watching her first Lovable vibe coding demo, she applied to Lovable's SheBuilds Hackathon. She won the competition out of 2,500 applications. Two weeks after watching that first vibe coding demo. Now, she's a Lovable Ambassador and vibe codes personalized solutions for her clients.
